COVID19: Zim records no death and 76 new cases in the past 24 hours

ZIMBABWE on Monday did not record a COVID-19 death.
This comes as cases during the third wave have been on the decline.
There were 76 new cases yesterday and 160 new recoveries.
Over 2 million people have since February this year received two doses of the vaccine as the country races towards attaining herd immunity.
“76 New Cases (All Local) and 0 Deaths reported today.(7 day rolling average* for new cases falls to 183 today from 227 yesterday)Only 5 cases reported from schools today and all from Manicaland Province,” read the Ministry of health and child care in its daily COVID-19 updates. “Vaccination Update: 6 101 received the 1st dose today bringing cumulative for 1st dose to 3 117 895 while 10 525 received their 2nd dose bringing cumulative for 2nd dose to 2 322 862 as at 1600hrs .

• As of 03 October 2021, @1500hrs there were 66 hospitalised cases: New Admissions 0,Asymptomatic 10, mild to moderate 39, severe 15 and 2 in Intensive Care Units.”
